Fresh, creamy and loaded with vitamins, this raw strawberry hemp ice cream will be a favorite summer treat for your children.
Ingredients:
- 1 Cup Soaked Raw Almonds
- ¾ Cup Shelled Hemp Seeds
- 1 Cup Filtered Water
- 3 Cups Organic Strawberries
- ½ Cup Date Paste - Soaked Dates, Blended with Water
- 1 tsp. Vanilla extract

Preparation:
- Blend Almonds, hemp seeds, and water.
- Strain using nut bag. This will make approximately 1 cup “cream”.
- Add cream to blender with berries, vanilla, and date paste.
- Process in 1 and 1/2 quart Ice Cream Maker.

A young coconut would be a great substitute, scrape the coconut meat and blend with the milk. This will make a rich, creamy ice cream. If allergies to coconut exist, use 2-3 frozen bananas. This will be more of a sorbet style dessert yet still very delicious. If you end up making this ice cream with either substitutes, please share your outcome. Thanks!
